The EMB Passenger Car Standard Launch Conference hosted/edited by Figure Technology was successfully held on January 18-19, 2024 in Zhangjiagang, where Figure Technology headquarters is located. This meeting brought together automobile industry experts, scholars and enterprise representatives from all over the country to discuss the two standards of "Performance requirements and bench test method for Passenger Car electromechanical brake caliper Assembly" and "Durability requirements and bench test method for Passenger Car electromechanical brake caliper Assembly". As the drafting unit of EMB passenger car standards, Figure Technology has rich research and development experience and leading technical strength in the field of online control, research, production, supply and marketing as one, with Zhangjiagang as the headquarters, with R & D branches in Frankfurt and Shanghai, Germany, and vehicle test bases in Heihe and Xushui. The company's independent research and development of line control motor products such as EMB, EHB (including 2-Box, 1-Box, ESC, RBU, etc.), EPB, etc., has a strong competitiveness in the market, for many customers, such as: Great Wall, Strangis, Changan, Wuling, BAIC, Foton, heavy truck, Schaeffler and other line control motor system products to provide more than 10 million pieces. The main responsibility for drafting the EMB standard is not only a strong proof of the technical strength of FIGG, but also an affirmation of the excellent performance of Figure technology in the field of online control.

As early as 2018, Figure Technology laid out EMB products with its absolute market sensitivity, and also took the lead in completing the development of EMB, walking in the forefront of the world.  The study of the EMB standard will have a groundbreaking impact on the promotion and application of new technologies in China's intelligent brake industry, and it has far-reaching significance for China's intelligent brake products to step out of the country to the international stage.

The formulation of the standard is scientific and rigorous, and the two-day standard discussion adheres to the consistent principles of openness, transparency, fairness, equality and consultation, giving full play to the positive role of all parties and defining the consensus of the industry. In the discussion session, the experts and representatives at the meeting had a heated discussion on EMB performance indicators, test methods, inspection rules and other topics. The formulation of a set of standards requires professionalism, cross-field cooperation and continuous improvement to ensure the operability and practicality of the standards. After intense and productive discussions, the meeting yielded fruitful results. The reaching of a number of consensus points out the direction for the follow-up work of standard formulation. The introduction of EMB standards will provide a basis for product research and development, promote the upgrading of industry products, and improve the overall competitiveness of the industry. Figure Technology will be committed to promoting the development of EMB standards, promoting cooperation and exchanges within the industry, and promoting the healthy development of the industry.
